Borchetta had previously\u00a0served as the CEO of Big Machine Label Group<\/a>\u00a0since HYBE\u2019s\u00a0purchase of Scooter Braun\u2019s Ithaca Holdings<\/a>\u00a0in 2021.<\/p>\n BMLG<\/strong>\u00a0was acquired<\/a>\u00a0by Scooter Braun\u2019s Ithaca Holdings in 2019. The entirety of Ithaca, including BMLG and Braun\u2019s SB Projects, was then\u00a0acquired by South Korea\u2019s HYBE<\/a>\u00a0in a $1.05 billion deal in 2021.<\/p>\n Borchetta confirmed plans to continue to use the Big Machine Records brand for his future ventures after his departure from HYBE AMERICA<\/a> last month.<\/p>\n At the time of the announcement, HYBE AMERICA said it would retain assets, the distribution deal, the publishing company Big Machine Music, and a number of artists on the label\u2019s roster.<\/p>\n HYBE AMERICA\u2019s Nashville-based country, Americana, and roots rock division was then rebranded as<\/a> Blue Highway Records (previously BMLG).<\/p>\n Nashville-based Borchetta Entertainment Group says it will “operate as a full-service management division focused on artist development, touring strategy, brand partnerships and long-term career growth.”<\/p>\n The company adds that it will work closely alongside Big Machine Records<\/strong> to provide “a streamlined approach to artist support.”<\/p>\n “I couldn\u2019t think of a better way to kick off this new era of Big Machine [than] by announcing the formation of the Borchetta Entertainment Group and a new management vertical.”<\/p>\n SCOTT Borchetta, Borchetta Entertainment Group<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n Borchetta said: \u201cI couldn\u2019t think of a better way to kick off this new era of Big Machine [than] by announcing the formation of the Borchetta Entertainment Group and a new management vertical, starting with the Grammy\/CMA\/ACM award-winning Carly Pearce and her longtime management partner, Mike Blong.<\/p>\n \u201cThis new season for Carly, starting with the amazing new Riley Green duet, If I Don\u2019t Leave I\u2019m Gonna Stay<\/em>, promises to be her best yet.
