UK-based music rights company Bella Figura Music has acquired the publishing catalog of Grammy, Academy Award, and Golden Globe-winning producer and songwriter Paul Epworth.<\/p>\n

Founded by former BMG<\/b> UK President Alexi Cory-Smith<\/b> in 2022, Bella<\/b> Figura Music<\/b>\u00a0says it has more than $200 million in music rights under ownership and management.<\/p>\n

The company\u2019s latest acquisition covers Epworth\u2019s publishing catalog and producer income, including some of his co-writes and productions on Adele<\/b>\u2019s\u00a021 <\/i>album, such as Rolling in the Deep, <\/i>and the Academy Award and Golden Globe-winning Skyfall, <\/i>which he co-wrote with Adele.<\/p>\n

The deal also covers Epworth\u2019s work with Florence + The Machine<\/b> across\u00a0Lungs<\/i>\u00a0and\u00a0Ceremonials<\/i>, and collaborations with Rihanna<\/b>, Arlo<\/b> Parks<\/b>, Glass<\/b> Animals<\/b>, Paul<\/b> McCartney<\/b>, and many more.<\/p>\n

Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.<\/p>\n

Bella Figura says Epworth\u2019s work has contributed to more than 100 million records sold worldwide, earning him\u00a0 <\/span>seven Grammy Awards, an Academy Award, a Golden Globe, an Ivor Novello Award, three BRIT Awards for British Producer of the Year, four MPG Producer of the Year Awards, and an MPG Icon Award.<\/p>\n

Paul Epworth<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Following the deal, Epworth\u2019s publishing catalog is administered by Sony, his publisher, and Bella Figura Music\u2019s global administration partner.<\/p>\n

The Epworth catalog will join assets that include the\u00a0RAK Music Publishing<\/b>\u00a0repertoire (acquired<\/a>\u00a0in April 2024) and individual songs such as\u00a0Joan<\/b>\u00a0Jett\u2019s<\/b>\u00a0I Love Rock \u2018n\u2019 Roll,<\/i>\u00a0The Human League\u2019s<\/b>\u00a0Don\u2019t You Want Me,<\/i>\u00a0Robbie<\/b>\u00a0Williams<\/b>\u2018\u00a0Angels,<\/i>\u00a0David<\/b>\u00a0Gray\u2019s<\/b>\u00a0White Ladder,<\/i>\u00a0Aloe<\/b>\u00a0Blacc\u2019s<\/b>\u00a0I Need A Dollar,<\/i>\u00a0Hot Chocolate\u2019s<\/b>\u00a0You Sexy Thing,<\/i>\u00a0and songs written with and performed by\u00a0Adele<\/b>,\u00a0Amy Winehouse, Kylie Minogue, LeAnn Rimes, Keith Urban\u00a0<\/b>and more.<\/p>\n

In February, Bella Figura acquired<\/a> the publishing catalog of Jonny<\/b> Pierce<\/b>, the songwriter and vocalist behind New York indie pop band\/project The<\/b> Drums<\/b>, marking the company\u2019s first major deal since entering the US market.<\/p>\n

In January, the company said it bought<\/a> a \u201csignificant portion\u201d of the catalog belonging to London-based indie label, Jeepster<\/b> Recordings<\/b>.<\/p>\n
