Big Machine Records<\/strong> and Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment<\/strong> have named Allison Jones<\/strong> as Executive Vice President of A&R.<\/p>\n

The appointment continues a working relationship between Jones<\/strong> and Big Machine<\/strong> Founder, Chairman and CEO Scott Borchetta<\/strong>,<\/strong>\u00a0which began in\u00a01997<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0when the pair launched DreamWorks Nashville<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Jones, who joined Big Machine in 2008,\u00a0will oversee A&R across the combined Big Machine<\/strong> and Nashville Harbor<\/strong> roster, which includes Riley Green<\/strong>, Rascal Flatts<\/strong>, The Band Perry<\/strong>, Aaron Lewis<\/strong>, Cole Goodwin<\/strong>, The Jack Wharff Band<\/strong> and Greylan James<\/strong>. Other artists across Borchetta<\/strong>‘s portfolio include Lady A<\/strong>, Marfa<\/strong>, Caroline Jones<\/strong>, Mackenzie Carpenter<\/strong> and Shaylen<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

“I’ve worked with Scott since 1997, when we opened DreamWorks Nashville together, and have spent the past 18 years at Big Machine in the trenches making history (with lots of celebrations and core memories made!),” said Jones<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

According to the company,\u00a0Jones<\/strong>‘ signings at\u00a0Big Machine<\/strong>\u00a0have included\u00a0Thomas Rhett<\/strong>,\u00a0Florida Georgia Line<\/strong>,\u00a0The Band Perry<\/strong>,\u00a0Riley Green<\/strong>,\u00a0Carly Pearce,<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Midland<\/strong>. She has also contributed to projects with\u00a0Tim McGraw<\/strong>,\u00a0Rascal Flatts<\/strong>,\u00a0Lady A<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Taylor Swift<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Commenting on the appointment, Borchetta<\/strong> said: “Allison is the consummate A&R executive. She knows every artist, every song, and every publisher, and is obsessed with being on the sharp end of pop culture. Big Machine simply would not be what it is today without Allison by my side, and I’m so thrilled that we get to continue together in this new season.”<\/p>\n

Before joining Big Machine<\/strong>, Jones<\/strong> spent more than a decade as the A&R representative for Toby Keith<\/strong>, while supporting the development of his Show Dog Records<\/strong> roster. She subsequently worked with Reba McEntire<\/strong> on multiple projects, including her Grammy Award-winning gospel album Sing It Now: Songs of Faith & Hope<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Jones<\/strong> previously served as Head of A&R at Giant Records<\/strong>, DreamWorks Nashville<\/strong> and Universal Music Group Nashville<\/strong>. During that period, she contributed to Common Thread: The Songs of the Eagles<\/em>, the CMA<\/strong> Album of the Year-winning tribute record.<\/p>\n

She has also been named to Billboard<\/em>‘s Women In Music and Country Power Players lists, as well as Country Aircheck<\/strong>‘s Power 31 list and the Nashville Business Journal<\/strong>‘s Women in Music City Awards.<\/p>\n

Founded in 2005 by Borchetta,\u00a0BMLG<\/strong>\u00a0was acquired<\/a> by Scooter Braun\u2019s Ithaca Holdings in 2019. Ithaca<\/strong>\u00a0was subsequently\u00a0acquired by South Korea’s HYBE in 2021<\/a>\u00a0in a deal valued at approximately\u00a0$1.05 billion<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

During its period under HYBE America, BMLG<\/strong> expanded its footprint through a series of structural moves, including the launch of cross-genre label Ascend Music<\/a> with former Republic Records<\/strong> executive Joel Klaiman<\/strong> in July 2025. HYBE<\/strong> America<\/strong> also divested its rock-focused imprint Big Machine Rock, selling it to Gebbia Media<\/a> in May 2025.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere across the group,<\/strong> Big Machine <\/strong>marked its 20th anniversary in September 2025<\/a>\u00a0with a series of international team promotions.<\/p>\n

Borchetta<\/strong>\u00a0exited\u00a0HYBE America<\/strong>\u00a0in February\u00a02026<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0launched Borchetta Entertainment Group<\/a>, a management division, the following month with the signing of\u00a0Carly Pearce<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
